|XAU Nature Assets
“Gold gets dug out of the ground. Then we melt it down, dig another hole, bury it again, and pay people to stand around guarding it. Anyone watching from Mars would be scratching their head.”
Warren Buffett
We don’t just invest in nature assets — we join those who guard and protect biodiversity as equity partners.
Our model is built on shared stewardship and aligned incentives, to maximise asset appreciation over time both in terms of ecological wealth and market value.
Asset Structure
|XAU structures each nature asset through a dedicated special purpose vehicle (SPV), which investors can join as quotaholders.
The SPV then enters into a long-term partnership with the landowner and nature stewards, securing a share of ecological rights in exchange for a cash investment. This investment is directly proportional to the cost of acquiring the land and financing its protection and conservation over a 30-year period.
The landowners and stewards are responsible for delivering the ecological results — protecting and restoring biodiversity, and maintaining the integrity of the ecosystem. |XAU then works to activate those results into financial value, structuring and monetizing them through high-integrity nature markets. Revenue generated is then shared among all equity partners, including the SPV.
Asset Gaia
(Brazilian Pantanal)
|XAU's inaugural asset is a partnership with Onçafari, world leaders in jaguar conservation, located in a high-priority biodiversity area within the legal Amazon in the Brazilian Pantanal.
Named after the iconic jaguar who tragically perished in the 2024 wildfires, Gaia aims to acquire up to 50% of the surface rights for the São Francisco do Perigara farm, upon reaching a total investment of US$5.3M, of which 94% will go to ground conservation and 6% will be used for legal, admin and technology fees.
Quotas are currently priced at US$457 per hectare.
